Do I need to order hair in advance?
In most cases, yes. Once we determine the ideal color, length, and extension method, hair is often ordered specifically for you. This allows us to create the most seamless blend and achieve the most natural-looking result possible.
How long does installation take?
Installation time depends on the extension method and the amount of hair being installed. Some appointments may take as little as one hour, while larger transformations can take up to five hours. We’ll provide a time estimate during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect.
How often is maintenance?
Maintenance varies depending on the extension method, your natural hair growth, and your at-home care routine. During your consultation, we’ll explain the recommended maintenance schedule and help you choose a method that fits your lifestyle.
Can I get extensions if I recently had a keratin treatment or hair Botox?
Yes, but timing matters. We typically recommend waiting about two weeks after a keratin treatment, Brazilian blowout, or hair Botox service before installing extensions.
In some cases, the smoothing treatment can be applied only from approximately one inch away from the scalp, allowing extensions to be installed closer to the root area. However, for the best long-term result and bond performance, we generally recommend completing your smoothing treatment first and waiting two weeks before your extension installation.
How many keratin bond extensions do I need?
The number of keratin bond extensions depends on your hair goals.
• Approximately 50 bonds are often ideal for adding fullness and volume.
• 75–100+ bonds are commonly used when adding both volume and noticeable length.
• Larger transformations may require additional hair depending on your starting density and desired result.
